Our next meeting is Tuesday, July 8, via ZOOM.  The zoom opens at 6:00 pm for anyone who wants general conversation time. We’ll start the book discussion at 6:30 pm and end on time at 8:00 pm.

Our July book is “Born A Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood” by Trevor Noah. “Noah’s childhood stories are told with all the hilarity and intellect that characterizes his comedy, while illuminating a dark and brutal period in South Africa’s history that must never be forgotten.” (Esquire). Bob Wilson will lead the discussion.

Looking ahead to August, we’ll be discussing Carl Hiaasen’s latest novel, “Fever Beach”. The New York Times bestseller is “Another instant classic from Carl Hiaasen – laugh-out-loud funny, tackling the current chaotic and polarized American culture, with two wonderful Hiaasen heroes.” Brenda Harris will lead the discussion.
