Our next meeting is Tuesday, October 8, via ZOOM.  The zoom opens at 6:00 pm for anyone who wants general conversation time. We’ll start the book discussion at 6:30 pm and end on time at 8:00 pm.

October’s book is Doris Kearns Goodwin’s “An Unfinished Love Story: A Personal History of the 1960s”. Brenda Harris will lead our discussion.

In November, we will be discussing “The Women” by Kristin Hannah, the story of one woman who joins the Army Nurse Corp during the Vietnam war.  It shines a light on all women who put themselves in harm’s way and whose sacrifice and commitment to their country has too often been forgotten. Cheryl Fox will lead the discussion.
