Our next Shelby County Democrats’ Book Group zoom is Tuesday, August 11. The zoom opens and discussion begins at 6:00 pm, and ends on time at 7:30 pm.

Our August book is “Giving Up is Unforgivable: A Manual for Keeping a Democracy” by Joyce Vance.  This book is a clarion call to action, putting our current crisis in historical context and sketching out a vision for where we go next.  Brenda Harris will lead the discussion.
