Qualifying for Democratic Primary Ends Friday

From our friends over at the Alabama Democratic Reform Caucus:

There’s not much time remaining for Democratic Candidate qualifying. 5:00pm this Friday!
State-wide races are listed below.
Come on, “Twinkle really, really deserves some opposition!”

We all know what happened with Judge Roy Moore; he was elected in the primary when no one expected it or was paying attention.  It would be a shame to not have people opposing the Republican candidates on our side of the ballot.

There are three State School Board seats where we have no Democrat running; two out of three of the Republicans have primary opposition and the other, Matthew Brown, is the person Governor Bentley appointed who doesn’t believe in public school education!  It is only $360 to qualify to run; we’ve listed counties at the bottom for each School Board seat.  If you’re in one of those counties please try to find someone NOW to qualify by Friday.

Twinkle really, really deserves some opposition.

And our Supreme Court Justices do as well.  If you know a bright, qualified lawyer who’d like to get their name out there, please encourage them to run.  With current office holders there could be a messy divorce, public scandal, most anything over the next year.  Let’s see if we can fill these slots.

And thanks to our U.S. Representative candidates who have proudly qualified to run.  The ones in bold blue CAPS are Dems that have qualified as of yesterday.
